Oops… I didn’t do it, again
Day late and a dollar short for a second week. We can all see how good I am with deadlines. HOWEVER, I did manage to get the houshold taxes filed, so I am a model citizen, and I will get a check in the bank of my own money… hopefully by the summer.
Okay, while none of us are perfect, I do apologize for the delay in communication, and the further delay of the new shop items. It seems post production can really be a hang up sometimes, and time management takes a lot of effort. Father time definitely waits for no (Hu)man, to this I can attest. I am still making progress on a small project I want to finish before the weekend is up. I guess what is holding me back on the others is that photography is not in my wheelhouse as much as I would like it to be, and product photography is THE WORST > IMO.
You want the colors to be correct and you want the best lighting with just the right amount of shadow… and worst of all, a lot of things really need props or models to be shown off well. Maybe my friend will model for me this coming Tuesday. Although the little shrug/sleeves I made is for a petite person, and her and I are both regular, full sized gals. While it wouldn’t be impossible to wear, it wouldn’t be a great fit. Which defeats the purpose of the picture in the first place. So, for that I will have to resort to the mannequin/dress form. Which also sucks. Because it has no arms to fill the sleeves. CAN YOU SEE MY DELEMMA YET?? I’m so demystified I’m ready to throw in the towel on wearables and focus on reusable Swiffer pads… sigh. Or we are thinking about Monstera leaf accent pillows.
