Better Late Than Never..

Okay, it’s not Wednesday, but, I still made it before the week was out. It has been an eventful week, I must say. I was trying to finish a pattern test, post new items for sale, keep up with this blog, start and finish a new pattern test, get yarn for the new pattern test, I started a painting… and all of the other things in life that still must be done, while also having a scheduled job. It’s like I’m in college again. At least there’s no GPA to keep this time around….

So, I have promised many things recently, and it looks like I will be failing on delivering a few of them. The biggest oopsie is I ruined the Granny Hex Hoodie I was making for a pattern test and had posted about selling it already. I was on a deadline and I rushed the finishing touches, so the garment proceeded to come apart in the wash. I am glad it did it here before I put it up to sell, and I learned a few valuable lessons… Don’t post about an item before it’s release, except to say it is being worked on. And never rush a project you plan on selling. I’m sure there’s another in there somewhere, but I’m tired, so we’ll leave it at that.

I do have 2 finished projects that are ready for sale and they both did just fine in the wash, of course. I just need to get some decent pictures of them and they can be listed. I am hoping to accomplish this in the morning. I have also decided to not put the furniture listing up here as they are large and would be expensive to ship anywhere, besides just being difficult to manage. I may change my mind again, but the plan for now is to put them on a local marketplace and see how that goes. The furniture is a set of four dining chairs from Pottery Barn, in case you’re curious.
