This section will house photos of various subjects, many of which have been heavily modified. Bits of decay and emotion may be brought to the surface by this glorious display of imperial imperfections.

These photos are a result of finding some peace in difficult times. I must say 2020 wasn’t a bad year for me overall. But I was going through some deep emotions while the world was doing its best to end… and I was an essential in the food industry the majority of the time. There was a delightful little interlude of working a Halloween Haunt in the month of October, which my partner and I both enjoyed thoroughly. We continued to live in the ways we knew how, while climbing out of a hole that had nothing to do with the world events at large. This one dead leaf can convey a message of the beauty of destruction, becoming immortalized through the lenses of my eye and my camera. And now through my very expensive website….

This close up of knit fabric has a rhythm all its own. Not sure I like what I did to blur the edges of these photos, but they do fascinate me, nonetheless. I may get brave and run prints on them and see if I change my mind. I am definitely thinking about taking another photo and adding less filters and then attempting to make a painting from the image. I will update you if I ever get that wild hair to grow.

Peek-a-boo. These are like digital self portraits, I guess. They are all created using my likeness. And not by AI. This is also work from 2020. As you can see, I was definitely happy for the outlet of the simple, free version of editing software available to me at the time. The eye would be my favorite, but the toothy grin is also high on my list. Which one do you prefer? You can let me know, because I have provided Contact Info in another tab here on this site. There is even an easy form that goes to the same email address provided!

More of the texture art, this one photo went through a few different filters and these four are my favorites of the bunch. I have some ideas for them, but they are secret for now.

More edits. The first of them is not from 2020, the rest are. I do still believe the first one is edited with the same program/app, but maybe not. That rainbow is over the sea and that highway is in California. Number two and three are nature near the domicile. The last one is on the East side of the area I live in… I think. It may have been taken on the way to The Haunt.

Another study of three. I think this one also had some more edits, and I’ve picked my faves. The items were found in the wild arranged as they are, in a heap. I imagine they are covers for the forks on a backhoe, though I could be way off. At any rate, they made for some damn fine models, and I enjoyed applying random filters to my liking.
