Good Morning Magick Ones
I am excited to announce this site is now live! It has already been a labor of love, and I hope to stay as active and excited as need be to see it thrive. If you have made it here to this page, you already passed through the main gallery and may have even poked around there or the shop. This is all a very new realm for me, so please stand by while I learn and adapt. Feel free to shoot me an email, either from the easy form found in the Contact Tab, or a direct email using the address provided on the same page - and let me know what you think.
In the gallery (I named it “Works”) you will find several sections to explore. These areas will likely change on occasion as more works are created and other people or influences come into play.
Currently you will find an area with my crochet projects, that includes links and descriptions. Some of the items will likely be found for sale in the Shop section. Others may be gifts or donations or just things that didn’t go as planned. As of today, there are only 3 entries to see. This will be added to greatly over the next month, and the shop items will grow with it.
The other two areas contain photos. The first, A Bow in the Rain, has some of my random pictures, taken when I get out and about in nature. My intention is to take photographs that are high enough quality to print and hang as art. The last entry in this section holds my first hopefuls, which I will be using to test how I would like to handle the logistics of this section of monetization of my art.
In the third section, A Place to Grow, I have placed photos of a different nature. The photos in this section have been digitally modified by me, and they were taken by me as well. They are more expressive and even though they didn’t take hours to produce, they mean a lot to me visually. I hope they invoke some feelings in those who view them as well. Once I get a handle on printing, framing, shipping, and such, some of these will be available as well. I may stretch further with these in a different direction and make them available as digital files. I currently have one of these posted photos as my laptop background, so I would think it would be cool to share for something like that or other things I haven’t thought of yet. This would also make them a bit cheaper and more versatile in a digital world. We shall see.
The future holds many things. Of this much I can assure you. The range will be from sharing things created in the kitchen to crochet and textiles to paintings and drawings. There will likely be artist spotlights for others I come in contact with. And who knows where I will take this blog section.
Again, I’d love to hear from you. Questions, comments, ideas, critiques and jokes. Thanks for stopping by!
